What's involved in the application process
The Application Process 
Although the application process may seem lengthy, don’t be put off, the time you take to apply is an investment in your future.
Remember that you are not just applying for an apprenticeship, you are applying for your future career as we are looking for exceptional recruits for our scheme and future workforce. Making the effort at this stage will show your commitment to your future career within a public authority environment.
It is important that you read all the information attached carefully to ensure that you meet the application criteria.
Make sure you understand what you are applying for, the process you need to follow and what you will achieve if your application is successful.
Open Evenings
You can drop into the Open Evenings at County Hall main reception on
Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 May 2010 between 5.30pm and 8.00pm, or Ferndown Library on Thursday 13 May 2010 between 4.45pm and 6.45pm.
There will be displays of information about the apprenticeship and working within a public authority. Current apprentices will be running the event and will be happy to share their experiences with you.
Completing the Application
Read the application pack guidance carefully, before completing the application form. There are guidance notes on completing the form and a task for you to complete, which forms part of our selection process.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 19 May 2010.
